During the summer of 2013, I did some work writing my own 3d-rendering software, as a part of
a larger project. This image is the result of some experimentation with nebulous, non polygon based, rendering.
Instead of drawing objects by drawing surfaces, the usual way of rendering 3d objects in computer graphics, the content in this image is rendered by the means of three dimensional brush strokes, of sorts. Consisting of hundred of thousands of "ink blots".
Interestingly, this technique is possible to combine with ordinary polygon based rendering.
